John Deere Tech Implementation Specialist

Location: U.S. and Canada

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementation and support of the John Deere Tech Stack across various agricultural settings in the United States and Canada
  • Ensure effective training and support for customers utilizing Advanced Guidance (AutoPath, Implement Guidance, and Turn Automation), Machine Sync, Data Sync, Work Planner and other Deere technologies.
  • Set up and fine-tuning of John Deere’s Operations Center for Customers.
  • Install Display, Receiver, and Payload updates.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and operators to ensure ongoing satisfaction and support.
  • When not traveling, supporting customers via RDA, text messages, and calls to keep them up and running.
 

Requirements:

  1. John Deere Technology Expertise: In-depth knowledge and understanding of John Deere Technology is essential.
  2. Advanced Guidance, Machine Sync, In Field Data Sharing, and Operations Center: Familiarity with these advanced technologies is required.
  3. Location Flexibility: Must be willing to travel to deploy and support the customer.  Expect to be on the road 15 to 20 weeks a year.
  4. Licenses: Possess a valid driver’s license and ability to get a passport with a clean record (no DUI’s)
  5. Agricultural Knowledge: Strong understanding of agriculture and farming operations with hands-on experience to “talk the talk.” You will maintain farm experience by operating equipment on a farm in Northeast Nebraska throughout the year.  
  6. Commitment: Ability to travel and work long hours during busy seasons to ensure customers receive thorough and effective training with limited downtime to the operation.
 

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary: $55,000 to $70,000.
  • Option to be part-time at $45 to $60 per hour.
